Welcome to the NLD RFU
The Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire & Derbyshire (NLD) RFU is the governing body for Rugby Football Union, and is responsible for the management and development of rugby union throughout the region.
Community rugby clubs in the NLD region stretch from Glossop in the north-west, to Barton-on-Humber and Cleethorpes in the north-east, down to Stamford in the south.
As well as administering the game, organising competitions & leagues, and fielding representative teams, the NLD actively promotes:
- Increasing the participation of mini and junior players from all backgrounds
- Driving the growth of women’s and girl’s rugby
- Improving the quality of coaching, refereeing and medical provision
- Ensuring the highest standards of safe-guarding and governance
- Adoption of rugby’s Core Values
